We are in a country where population of people that are jobless is increasing every day and no new jobs are being created, recently thousands of people lost their Jobs as a result of recession, those people also added to the number of unemployment in the country, a lot of graduates are roaming the streets seeking for job opportunities that are not even there. Every year we are turning out thousands of fresh graduates who's hope of getting job is so slim . Some of us who were fortunate to get a job immediately we finished the national youth service remain grateful to God.
I am writing this article to everyone that is already working and those who have the hope of getting a job some day on how to actually secure the job they have already or they will get soon from losing it. Frankly speaking, joblessness is a terrible experience, those who have been there will attest to that. Recently I was forced to send money to a friend of mine who is a graduate but he has no job, after he narrated what he has been going through, I was so disturbed about his situation, I just felt if I have enough money to give him to start business, I would have loved to do so, his situation was bad.
Friends, if you are fortunate to get a job, thank God for this and ensure you don't lose it as a result of your own attitude,error or mistakes. Many are out there looking for the job that you have and you are so nonchalant about it,people don't value what they have until they lose it, my advice for you is that you should hold tightly to what you have so that you won't regret later as a result of your actions or inaction.
All that will I be writing in this article is a continuation from my last article which was HOW TO WORK SAFELY , AVOID QUARRIES AND BECOME YOUR BOSS FAVOURITE, if you consider those things I wrote in that article with this article, they will actually help you to get your job secured and still help you to be your boss favourite. DON'T BE THE TROUBLE MAKER AT WORK PLACE
There some workers that have been tagged trouble makers in the office, they have fought nearly with every member of staff. Most of the times the reasons for fighting with Co workers are so unimaginable, trivial that can actually be let go or not in any reason to cause a fight but they will end up fighting. Some of these people can not bear with others,lack of patience, very touchy and easily get irritated. They have become terror to everyone, you dear not come close to their desk talk less of taking what belongs to them. These people sometimes they also extend this kind of attitude to customers and clients which can actually cause their organisation their credibility and make people to stay away or no longer patronise the establishment.
Know this, you may still be allowed to continue with your job if the extent of your trouble is still within your organisation, only among your Co workers, the moment you begin to fight with your clients and customers, your organisation will not have option than to send you out of the organisation before you destroy what they have laboured for. Please take a new leave and change your attitude if you are in this category before it's too late. A word is enough for the wise.
SEEK ON HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR ORGANISATION
One of the good things that you can actually do for your organisation is to promote them, every employer will always be happy to his employee promoting the company in one way or the other such employee will be appreciated.
Promoting your company may cost you money,time,it's always with a price though it may not cost you much. One thing you should know is that no amount of promotion is too little for your organisation since you are doing it willingly and it can be as little as just a word of mouth, using social media etc. Doing this for your organisation will actually help you to secure your job, no employer will sack such a staff and it will make you your boss favourite.
AWAYS READY FOR WORK EVEN WHEN IT'S INCONVENIENT
Being a worker, you must be ready and prepared for inconveniences,I fell a victim of this and it was not palatable. Be ready to work when it seems it is not part of your agreement with your organisation. There some workers that will never work outside the stipulated time for their work, they are not ready to inconvenient themselves in any way, never ready to part with anything for the organisation. This kind of attitude is not good, it makes your employer to silently without so much noise dislike you and be ready to give you quarry or sack you at any slightest mistake that normally it shouldn't have resulted to that hash judgment.
BE THE PERSON THAT GOES EXTRA MILES
As a worker,you must be the type who is ready to go extra miles concerning the work you are doing. Don't always be satisfied with what you are doing,think of what you can do to make it better and go ahead and do it. Always ready to give back to your employer beyond their expectations, let them see extra touch you have added to what they expect from you, that extra touch may make your work or products be different from others and stand out, it can even become the secret of your company that makes it different from other companies. Such staff can not easily lose their job and they may earn the favor of their boss.
BEING A GOOD AMBASSADOR OF YOUR ORGANISATION
Being an ambassador of your company places a great responsibility on you, this means you must be careful on how you relate with people especially outside your working environment which can be neighbourhood, market places, religious arena etc You should know that your behaviour and character outside the work place speak volume of how people will see you ,your co- staff and the organisation. People easily make conclusion on such matters, if you misbehave, they may say everyone in your organisation is dishonest because you perpetrated such act. Don't bring your organisation down because of your way of life ,represent them very well at anywhere and at anytime. When you are sent personally to represent the organisation, do all you can to be your company's ambassador and you be glad you did for such organisations will appreciate your efforts and be ready to work with you as long as you want.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, when your first devotion is towards God ,you love and fear Him and you don't disobey His commandments .
